Weld-on waterstops are used wherever a connection to sheet waterproofing systems (typically PVC or PE membranes) is required, for example in tunnel structures. The material of the weld-on waterstops is selected to match the base material of the waterproofing membrane to ensure compatibility and allow proper welding between the components.
