Internal expansion joint waterstops

Internally positioned expansion joint waterstops are used where joints are designed as expansion joints due to anticipated restraint forces and stresses within the structure. In addition to preventing water ingress, they also accommodate movement and settlement. Elastoflex versions are available with laterally attached perforated metal strips for fixing to the reinforcement (FMS), as well as with an additional protective covering for the expansion tube, for example in pressure joints used in tunnel construction (DS).
