Ribbed membranes are used wherever full-surface waterproofing and, in some cases, complete protection of the concrete surface are required, for example in wastewater treatment tanks, tunnels, pipelines, and canals, as well as in buildings with multi-level basement structures. The membranes are welded together on site to form a continuous waterproofing system. In joint areas, the membranes can be connected using special weldable waterstops. Ribbed membranes are available in both PVC and PE materials.
